Ipad apps to help dyspraxic child with writing?

I have recently self diagnosed my Ds with dyspraxia and SPD and am awaiting the community paediatric team to contact me re getting a proper diagnosis.
He is in Y2, aged 7 (just). While his speech, maths and language are all way above average he really struggles with writing, hates to write and makes spelling mistakes when he does write, I think that the physical effort of writing is hard for him and so this does not help his concentration (he spells the hard part of words correctly then misses bits out or gets the easy part wrong).'
He does, however, adore the iPad, I already use it as a carrot to get him to do some writing and have today ordered Write from the Start" to do with him but am wondering how else I can use the iPad to help him.
He has a pen for the iPad (rubber tipped) so I can get him to write on doodle buddy but does anyone know of anything else? He is too big for the phonics style writing apps that we used to have.
TIA

D's is about to start using an iPad in class. I'll see if I can find out what apps he's using. He started using a laptop last year (Y2) for lomger pieces of work as like you say the effort of writing was getting in the way.

I'm expecting him to have clicker 6 as that's what he used on a laptop last year. As well as the usual word processor features it had a predictable text setting and could read back his work. There was also the option for the teacher to set up a subject specific dictionary. Very handy for some of the topic work.

We're looking at getting a keyboard to use with it as I don't feel long amounts of typing on the iPad are great for anyone.

BBC dance mat was recommended as a good touch typing tool for children. He did that both at home and school and it does seem to have brought on his typing skills.
