Hi dd2 4.10 has generalised and anxiety and asd traits. She is currently quite obsessed with wrapping and unwrapping things. To the point where she goes through a roll of tape a day! She wraps anything at all and then unwraps them again. Anyone else had this? Its driving me bonkers

This isn't one we have been through (yet?).

It sounds stressful, and timeconsuming, and I think the noise of the sellotape being torn/ripped all day would drive me bonkers.

Thanks and Brew

Ds is in this phase now too! Mostly wrapping or creating taped up parcels of stuff ie egg boxes, small toys etc.

He will tape anything up in a sort of cocoon if left alone with it. Also all craft involves taping and if I give him pencils to draw with he just tapes them to the paper Grin

Oh god i leave craft to school as dd2 will draw inthe floor or walk round holding pencils

Omg I am so relieved it isnt just me! Dh has brought her back some white masking tape from work so it doesnt make a horrid sound and so she can just tear bits off herself. Anything that can be wrapped is wrapped!
