anyone know about DLA criteria?

I'm currently in the process of applying for DS. My question is about behaviour being different at home to nursery - he's one of those who seems to work very hard to hold it together when there and then completely falls apart at home. He's only been there a month but I suspected this may happen (and they'll think I'm crazy with my 2 x A4 list of 'concerns') - is this likely to affect the decision?

I've seen some great posts on how to fill the form in and have downloaded the celebra guide but I wonder if anyone knows where I can find specific criteria at all?

Many thanks in advance

Something like that ought to polter but that one is a list of medical conditions and info about them. DS has no diagnosis so I'm applying on needs...I was thinking something like how many minutes/hours of each task required/what criteria must be met for each section. Not really sure what to search for but kind of want to know if it's worth applying really. Thank you for the link

I would doubt very much that something like that would be made public otherwise everybody would look at it and make sure their DC's needs match in order to get the most money!

I always use this as a guide. www.cafamily.org.uk/media/744270/dla_for_children_21_march_jc_web.pdf

But ive never seen anything that states how many minutes of care you have to provide for each section to qualify.

Its always worth applying if your child has requires more care and supervision than his peers. I've seen some people get higher care rate when they clearly shouldn't and i've also seen people get nothing when they should get something. There is little consistency with DLA.
I got a local disability charity to help me fill out my renewal forms, maybe see if that is something you can access in your area?

Oh gosh yes nah that makes total sense - feel a bit silly now but so new to all of this, the trouble is I don't know many other children DS's age to know how different he is (I suspect fairly as I'm filling in reams at each question and realising just how much I've adapted to what's 'normal' in our house) - for example can a NT 3 year old dress themselves?

I will check out the link thank you

I think its based on this -
1 hr more care needed than NT peer - lower rate
Care needed frequently throughout the day -middle
As above plus night time care needed - high
