I know that sounds odd but they've decided as ds is only just 4, they cannot formally diagnose him as having ADHD as he is quite young, but this is how they want him to be treated/managed for want of a better phrase. Our mdt was Monday and despite quite a few no-shows, inc school, it went ahead as was too late to cancel.

So we are still on our journey but perhaps with a better path to walk on.

Make sure you get all of that in writing. You know, that he has a 'working diagnosis' of ADHD.

Will see what comes back from the minutes of the meeting but will make sure it's in writing :).

We currently see OT and that's going to continue while we put together a strategy for ds, then it will be appointments on a less regular basis to make sure everything is still working/helpful.

I'm honestly utterly relieved. That we're not just neurotic parents, that we do know our child. That he really, really can't help his behaviour most of the time.

Now we just have to make sure we can get everything working towards ds' best interests.

Oh, and we've also now been offered free preschool sessions for our younger two to help us out as a family.
