Desperate to get Ds to school each day

I have posted many times but I'm desperate. I can't get Ds into school. He seems to be ok to go in after lunch but I start work at 12 so can't really do that. I've already shortened my work day from a 9am start as was always late.

The problems seem to be assembly, playtime and lunchtime. Which would tie in with why Ds doesn't want to go to school until the afternoon as there is no afternoon play after lunch time.

School allow him to have a time out break in afternoon playing with lego or drawing.

School say that he doesn't like assembly as he tries not to go (when he is there which isn't often) but at playtime and lunch time he is fine. Ds has one or two friends and sch say he is playing with them ok so I can't understand why Ds hates playtime/lunch so much. Ds also says lunch hall is too noisy.
School have offered him to go to lunch hall earlier - hasn't worked. They have given him option to play in baby playground with friend he didn't want to, option now gone.
They have offered a social skills group at lunchtime he tells them he doesn't want to go.
I'm not sure what can be done to make sch as less challenging experience for him.
Every day he cries and gets aggressive about going to school , says school makes him sad and is too hard.
Any advice welcome. I'm not sure what else I can ask the school to do.

Thought about the ear defenders I'm going to get some and try it. Sch offered for Ds to come in 10 mins early and play gadget as suggested by autism advisory but only works a handful of times. Once a week at best.
School think Ds is not having trouble at sch but if know he is however it would be easier if he would accept what is being offered to help him or express it more at school. He has something in his head that he must behave at school and not break the rules however he is out of control at home when it comes to going to school. School have witnessed this many times in car park upon arrival and refusing to go in.

Hi polter everything sch have done has come from autism advisory recommendations and I have another meeting with her soon. School say they can do no more.
I'm going to request that school can possibility continue with the play therapy they also provided as Ds liked that although he only attended half the sessions due to not going in to sch on time. I think Ds could do with some more emotional support from school so will talk about that. Could possibly move to a smaller school but Ds anxiety would prob rocket although he would benefit from smaller class as current school is overly massive.
No extra support other than autism advisory.
I'm sure we will get there in the end it just becomes so frustrating for all sometimes - thank you

All the time school are saying there isn't a problem they're not receptive to your DS'S feelings are they? They said DD2 was finebut they didn't see her at night/afternoon/weekends.

Could he eat in the classroom?

Skylar would it be true to say the school are following orders from AO without actually truly use their imagination to help? Or am I reading it wrong?

tacal · 12/05/2014 18:26

Have you seen an o/t? Maybe they could help with the sensory issues?

Skylar123 · 12/05/2014 19:21

Hi handy most of the stuff put in place has been down to AO. Last time we met we Had two meetings on same day one after other, sch head of sen said no more we can do, have you thought about a new school (ffffsss) straight into meeting with AO and came out with time out with lego in afternoon and time with TA for Ds to talk about what he has done that has made him happy at school today.
