Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Can you get a travel cot for an older child (with SN)?

Normal travel cot is too small!

We use a ready bed with our DD when we go away. You can get them from amazon and Argos among others.

The duvet is built in to the bed so it can't fall off .

If you go for a 'my first' ready bed the have a bit around the top which helps stop them falling out.

Ooh. I've been contemplating this, so let me know what you find :-)
My problem is DS is tall so junior beds won't do, but he needs 'rails' or bumpers to stop him from falling off.
I think our cheapest option is to buy a normal inflatable bed and a pair of these
I did like the look of these , but too pricey for us.

There's this too. Not sure what your particular requirements are, though. This may not contain so well as you need.

if you are looking at a long term need you can get a portable safe space but they are very expensive.
