Thank you for clarifying LightTripper and BlankTimes, that’s really helpful and interesting info.
I think in our case ABA wouldn’t necessarily be an obvious choice especially as one has Neurofibromatosis so their ASD may well be linked to a medical condition. I think attempting to train it out of them with this in mind might be pointless. At present we’re very much in the going-with-it camp. That said each case of ASD is so varied I can see why some families might want to try it for their own children, after all we all just want to help our wonderful unique children as best we can. You’re all way more informed than me on this so thank you for sharing your knowledge. It’s so nice to hear from other parents steering through the same sea of decisions as us!
