Hi,my Ds is 9. Currently being assessed for learning differences. We are not sue what is going on at the moment Dyslexia/dyspraxia who knows.
He is chronically unorganised, handwriting dreadful, forgetful and often anxious.
He has a assembly today, he claimed he has no part in it. This turns out not to be true. He did have a part. To video kids talking about recycling. He did this but video the wall while they were talking. He told me nothing about this ( I found out from the teacher),
It's a continuous theme this forgetting. I don't think he is telling me lies.
Does it ring any bells? Thank you.

sounds like my daughter - she forgot to tell me that she was taking her guide promise so I didn't know she had done it until I picked her up. I was so upset that I wasn't there.

I don't know why she is like this = she is 10 - she has recently been diagnosed with dyslexia. I have also asked for her to be referred for dyspraxia

Hi. My DS (just turning 7) has SPD and ASD. He was assessed by OT as having problems with (amongst other things) executive functioning which affects his planning, organisation and impulse control. He finds it very hard to remember stuff he needs to do, follow instructions without them being broken down into little steps, plan and organise himself to carry out a task, for example.

Thanks jack. I've been out all day so just back. Ds will be assessed soon so I'm hoping this all comes to light. I know there's an issue.
