The short and long of this is basically ds1 is immobile he has a bedroom upstairs.
The house is a modernist 4 bed 2 double, 1 single and 1 box room, main house bathroom is upstairs there is a small cloakroom downstairs which ds1 is using for his toileting. And also an integral garage.
We have DS 1&2 and me and dh.
What we want basically is for the adaptations team to extend the bathroom into the box room to create a wheel in shower area, through floor lift which goes from the dining room to the box room, where we can remove th wall adjoining it to the hall, and then an extention onto the back to make a downstairs bedroom for the future. He's too you right now to sleep downstairs, and I think if we're going to get all this work done we may as well to the extention too.
My question is do you think this is feasible? And would they go for it?
What could I do to convince them that this is the best solution?
