Learning language support. I have been called in to give background / my prospective. Not sure what to tell them. I have written a short bullet point of ten key things for a potted history.

Trying to keep to some basic facts. The school already know all this anyway.

I find myself second guessing everything now. I think brief and to the point is best - also to avoid any talk of the tribunal over refusal to assess.

It just feels like a game of chess. I'm to thick to understand chess! Plus I'm a team of two, the lea is full of bods against us

It is a game of chess.

Yep - don't mention the Tribunal.

Don't volunteer anything views / comments etc - just stick to actual facts when recounting developmental history.

Talk as little as possible - let them do th talking.

Listen - you may learn stuff to your advantage Grin

It's truly horrible isn't it?

But no worse than clearing up vomit or unblocking the toilet.

You just gotta roll your sleeves up, hold your breath as much as you can and get on with the job purposefully and in minimum time.

Don't think of it as chess. Think of it as a dance, such as in Dangerous Liaisons! The LA are expected to do all this stuff, now.

Not so helpful if you're dyspraxic, mind Wink
