DD2 just came to me and said 'DD3 is really annoying and mucking around...I think we need to kill her...'

I said 'I don't think we can kill someone for mucking around, DD2.'

DD2: 'Yes...I know that for a reason: 'Kill' is a grown-up word.'

Reminds me of the time dd came to me and said in exasperated tones "I have no use for ds2"

A while ago, dd2 confided that dd1 was annoying her so much that 'I just feel like I want to punish her!'

I told ds1 off for hitting ds2 a couple of years ago when they were 5 and 3. He said 'I didn't hit him, I was just battering him'! I had to explain 'battering' without hitting isn't acceptable either.

I love her logic, however twisted.

DS1 is quite free with his suggestions for DS2. None of them pleasant.

When he was consulted for his contribution to AR, he went into a diatribe about how DS2 is always distracting him and explained to the SENCO that there are schools especially for children like DS2 and that's where DS2 should go!

How fantastic is that, Ouryve? Grin

I had to negotiate a peace treaty last week because DD2 was giving 'insight' into DD1's experiences. Unfortunately, the 'insight' she was giving was what she thought about the situation and she could not compute that DD1 may think differently. Her 'insight' was massively insulting to DD1, mainly because DD2 has decided that DD1 needs to be treated like a 2 year old, including the sing-song voice to speak to her, because she has a 'hard brain' Hmm.

When it is pointed out to DD2 that DD1 is not 2 years old, she simply says 'well, she does act like it...'

The irony was that it's him we want to move out of mainstream! DS2's thriving, at the moment!

DS1 cannot cope with the fact that DS2 has such limited speech and still wears nappies. Never mind that he still needed them at the same age!
