Just that really, trying to gently educate DDs teacher about SPD. We don't have the official dx yet, but after each appt we have it seems more like a formality than an issue, and that it could be added to the dx of ASD 'if it helps'

Does anyone have any links to really clear and concise information/articles that I could print out, as an overview of what SPD is, and how processing is dependent on individual experience and is fluid and not static?

Please?

This is a good article about recent research into SPD which shows it is a discrete disorder - not just part of ASD, ADHD. My child's SENCO found it when I mentioned I thought DS had this and she was very excited by it. www.integratedlistening.com/new-evidence-illuminates-the-nature-of-sensory-processing-disorders/
If you look at www.lanc.org.uk and go to the SID page it gives a good overview and brief summary of symptoms under different headings.
