if the statement lists OT support in part 3 (woolly worded, OT must provide support and advise to school to help DD to develop certain sensory processing skills) can OT simply discharge her and leave her with zero OT input? DD's needs have not changed. The feckers in the LA are only on a money saving mission.

I think probably not. I suppose the LA would argue that "providing support and advice" could be a one-off, or just enough to last till DD is deemed to have made enough progress. However, I think you could say that children change so that really doesn't work, and if they want to stop OT they must formally amendthe statement. But I'm not sure that anyone would want to take it to court with wording as vague as that.

she has not made progress really and was not assessed prior to discharge. the school OT position has been axed, Dd's miraculous cure was a side a side effect of that.
