Question about using a Barrister

I know every case is different etc.. Our case isnt too complicated (yet!)
We have Fiona on our case..

I am wondering if its worth hiring a barrister just for the hearing (if the case ends up in Tribunal. i.e. not settled just by appeal)? Trying to save ££ if I am honest

Fiona was fab at our tribunal and more than outdid the LA rep.

Is your LA going to be represented by a solicitor or barrister? Sometimes it makes things worse to employ a barrister as the LA then do the same and the hearing can become very hung upon legal points and less about the child.

It depends if very obscure legal points are being argued against you, if not then Fiona will more than hold her own.

I dont know who they are hiring yet. But I see your point..

will the LEA tell you who are they bringing then?

Fiona is a former city bond trader and desk head, an Oxford classics graduate, an autism mum and has 10 yers working on SN legal cases - don't really see that a barrister could add much!

Sick Of, I think she is very capable too. That is why the question.

BlueShark - no I don't know
