Interesting thread on mainboard re attitude of and toward teachers

It is interesting because the OP as the thread progresses is clearly getting to the end of her tether with the arrogance of the teachers in the school her children attend, yet went a long way (as she is also a teacher) to defend their professionalism and stance on reallocating statemented children's 1:1 provision.

Now, I'm not bad mouthing her. The thread we were on together got heating and we had opposing views, but I've seen her about and she's alright imo.

However, I thought it was interesting how it seems to be perfectly acceptable to get upset with teachers for middleclass issues, but not for SN issues.

What do you think?

I remember the other thread where it was ok for teachers to decide to reallocate provision as they see fit. Ironic really that they need differanted teaching, learning objectives and achievable targets for setting a bit of homework and cannot set as they feel fit!
