Any recommendations for reins for my DS? He is really too big for toddler reins but still needs them as he has no awareness of danger. Wrist reins are no good as he gets upset with anything on his wrist

What about Littlelife toddler day sacks? They're more like little rucksacks with a lead Wink. Lots of different designs so he wouldn't feel like he was wearing reins.

Hi tigersmummy. They seem to be up to 4 years? Don't know if they would last long although I love how they look

You can get little life backpacks for older children as well, they're a bit more sturdier.

Little life and goldbug reins both still fit my three year old as they are adjustable and we use them daily on all outings

DS is 8 and still uses the little lite alpine bag is has been excellent and has a extra push button on the fastening lock.

DS1 is a tall-ish 7 year old and used toddler reins until this summer. They were a squeeze over his winter coat, last year, but that just meant he couldn't wriggle out of them.

There is a company that specializes in doing reins, etc for special needs children such as those with ASD that gets advertised in the magazine of the National Autistic Society. Crelling I think its called.
