It maybe the Daily Fail, but this really makes me cross that families with a disabled child are going to have a harder time to enjoy a Disney Theme park. Dismal Disney

It's not clear, but having watched the video and reading the linked articles, it seems that some "guests" will still be given exit passes?

I was there in the summer and disney where wonderful but the misuse was obvious even given the hidden disabilities and not all disabilities being clear the amount of wheelchair and mobility scooters hire was huge (mainly adults) add to that the obesity crisis I am not surprised disney has followed universal. It does not help that they are not allowed to ask for proof of disability.

I saw this article earlier SallyBear and was going to start a thread about it. We took DD1 to Disneyland Paris last year and having an exit pass made a huge difference to our experience. I think Disney need to review their system so they stop abuse rather than withdrawing this offerering, though, maybe that is not entirely the case if sen is right.

Anyway, the thing that really got my blood boiling was the comments at the bottom of the article, not sure I expect any better from people who post on the Mail website, but really, going to the trouble of writing, "all those bleating about autistic children, maybe a theme park isn't the best place to take them". Seriously, for fucks sake, do these people have hearts of stone, no compassion whatsoever. Oh yes, thats right, us parents should keep our autistic children indoors and not take them out. Ignorant twats. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. And the daily poll asking if disabled people should jump the queues and 64% said no!
