early signs of learning difficulties

OK I know I'm going to sound like a paranoid lunatic but here goes.

DS4 is 15 weeks (nearly 11 corrected). He has a cleft lip and palate, slightly deaf in one ear, fluid on the brain and low muscle tone. I'm wondering if he's got learning difficulties. He is very different from how my other children were at that age.

He stares at lights and at me when he is awake but he doesn't really do much else but feed and sleep and he sleeps a lot. When I took him for his immunizations all the other babies were wriggling around and grabbing things but DS4 was just lying there.

He seems content but he hardly ever smiles, probably about once or twice a week. His MRI showed "a normal premature brain" whatever that means.

Should I be concerned about him? I have 3 other DC with various issues which makes me look for issues that aren't there!

I don't know, it may be too early, but I do firmly believe that the brain is very elastic at this age, and that you can "fire up" different pathways by doing loads of interaction and shared attention games, teaching bby manually to follow a point. Eg get a really whizzy toy, then when you know baby is looking at it, point close to it.
