is this still 'jargon'

At 3 ds used a lot of 'jargon' the odd word here and there, followed with lots of made up words or sounds, which couldnt be understood and didn't make any sense.

He is now 9, has very good speech etc, etc. However what he does now is makes things up or puts his own slant on facts (which are not accurate or true)

For example he will tell you some true facts about spiders, then just ramble on about spiders and give other 'facts', which are obviously not true. He cannot be told otherwise and believes his made up 'facts' to be true.

Is this just extended jargon?
