Anyone's child received a diagnosis of ASD before 18 months in the UK?

They say the earlier the intervention the better and I just read this article saying children can now be diagnosed around 1 year old. I have seen a few people in the USA who have children diagnosed around 14-18 months but wondered if anyone's child had received an early diagnosis in the UK.

DS2 was diagnosed at about 22 months. He couldn't have been diagnosed at 1 year. He had no symptoms at that age.

Most people comment that 22 months was pretty early but we were 'lucky' that he regressed so aggressively so the investigations were prompt

No - 2 year old but I can definitely remember some worrying signs before this, so if you feel there are issues you want assessed it can't hurt to get in as soon as possible.

DS2 was diagnosed with "social communication difficulties" at 2, and then ASD at 2.5.

I knew from around 16 months that there was something wrong with his development (and looking back I can see it was there from birth) but I waited till his 2 year check to discuss it with the HV who referred him to paediatrician.
