regurgitation

Anyone else's kids choose to regurgitate their food constantly because they can?
I have a son, 20yrs with severe learning difficulties and complex health needs. He "brings back" his food almost constantly every day all day. Tried everything. Have never been on here before today, thought I'd give it a try. Fed up doesn't come close. He's been at it for years. We have good days and bad days. Makes going out difficult, its not nice cleaning vomit off him all the time. Its a behavioural problem we know and try to deal with it as such but its just so hard. So sick of it. Oh and the 2-5 tonic clonic seizures he has every day.
Had no one to talk to for a couple of days. Can you tell?
Any suggestions gratefully received.

sorry your having a bad time of it, my dd was at a special needs school with a teenager who did this, staff had been trying everything to stop the young man from doing this but nothing helped, my dd spoke to him and told him girls don't fancy boys who do that, and you want a girlfriend some time in your life don't you? the staff couldn't believe it, he never did this again, I know this may not help you but just wanted to say there is hope

I can recommend osteotherapy if it isn't behavioural. someone did suggest it was behavioural with ds but it was amazing jow it cleared up with osteo and returns if we have too long between appointment Wink
