Hi, my daughter is in Piedro standard boots, due to twisted shin bones causing her feet to roll out. This makes her more at risk of twisting her ankle.
I've already bought her some bright pink Pieros for out of school, and she gets her black ones on the NHS. I don't really want to buy the Piedro trainers as well, if I can avoid it. If there is no other option, then of course I will. She'll only wear them twice a week for P.E.
Thank you. Smile

I should also mention that she is in an adult size 4.5 G.

We have had high top trainers from sports direct with a velcro strap at the top, she would need someone to lace them though. Dd3 got on quite well with them until she outgrew them. She is 10 and has outgrown the 6!!

She now has some from next which arent quite as good but they are better than standard trainers.

Good luck Smile

Thank you, I will have a look at them. It doesn't matter about the lasses as she has a one to one lady at school. Smile

Great they are good value too especially if only worn twice a week!

I bought dd high top trainers from clarks that are very supportive. At £40 they were pricey but im guessing cheaper than piedros.

Yes, the Piedros are about £130! We did look in clarks, but the only ones in her size were ordinary lace-ups which didn't look that supportive. We didn't see any high tops. I might check the web site.

Hi - I read somewhere that start-rite are more supportive than Clarks so could be worth looking there

mummyloveslucy · 20/08/2013 21:09

Thank you. Smile She always used to have Start-rite, and they were brilliant. She's never had their trainers before as they used to only come in an f width. I see now they are doing them in a G so that's worth a try.
