Disneyland Paris disabled pass?

We are taking DSS to Disneyland Paris on Friday. He has ASD and someone told me we can get a disabled priority pass which means we can jump certain queues (he finds waiting in line and very crowded confined spaces very uncomfortable). His mum gave us a copy of his disability living allowance letter as proof of disability, but it is dated December last year. It also doesn't state what his disability is on the letter. I read a bit on the Disney website that any proof of disability must be in date by at least 2 months. Also, the website says we need to present 'a disability card (disabled person's priority card, formerly known as the "difficulty standing" card, war disability card, European disabled parking badge) or a medical certificate'. We don't have any of these (his mum is now in Spain so no chance of contacting her). Does anyone know if they will accept just a copy of his DLA letter? Thanks.

I used to work for Disney in London and if you call the London office and speak to the Attractions department (they handle all the UK marketing for Disneyland Paris), they might be better to advise you or at least point you in the right direction.

Bit vague but hope it helps.

Poptart I've just come back from Disneyland and was able to get the Disabled Priority Card for my DD. I don't know if they will accept the DLA letter or not, I used DD's statement as that went into the most detail about the difficulties she has, despite not actually stating any diagnosis.

They gave us a special guide book along with the card so i will have a look in that to see if there is any more information. The card made such a difference to us and really made it a special holiday for DD, I would recommend you try to get one for DSS. Would it be possible to get a letter from his GP before you go?

We got back on Friday... I took a letter from my GP (paid £12) stating his dx and difficulties.

You will need to go to City Hall at the entrance of the park where you will be issued with a priority card and a detailed guide book. The member of staff that assisted us saw that ds was struggling with the queue so took us into a side room to complete the paperwork. She was lovely with ds too.

Like others have said it really made a difference to our holiday... wait times for some of the rides was over an hour, but with the pass we didn't wait at all.
