I was going to get him that bouncy castle from Woolies.. knocked down to sixty odd pounds for weeks.. then back up to a hundred the day (or nearly!) that I go to buy it! Since then I have scoured everywhere to get hom something similar but no luck and there's not time to get one from Ebay now..
I have a budget of £40 - £80 (the 80 being if I go halves with my mum as I was going to for the Woolies one..) I have seen cheaper, smaller ones (Argos, ELC etc) but they are, I think, the types without the constant air flow. It would be punctured within days!! :(
It's so hard to buy him something suitable. Congnitively, he is fairly age appropriate in some respects,.. but his motor skills are nowhere near age appropriate. I can't get him lots of crafty bits etc (like I can DD, 7, when I have not got her a 'main' present for a birthday or Christmas) because there is so little he can actually so in that respect.
I really did want to get him a bouncy castle.. but can't find anything decent within our budget (bloody Woolies!!!
) He likes bouncy castles but is wary of them when we go out anywhere because of the way all the other kids bounce him around so we thought one at home would be ideal.
Sigh. I have four days. If I could think of anything else I would go for that instead! Arrrgh!!
