just wanted to let you know there can be light at the end of the tunnel.
Ds1, spent first 4 years of primary school being told he was a troublemaker and being 'called in' to school on a regular basis.
Was then diagnosed as dyspraxic and 'probably' aspergers at 8, was told he would be lucky to get level 3's in yr6 SATs, was given a scribe got level 5's.
Went to secondary, struggled, Sat gcse English twice in yr 9 and 10 and got a D. got proper allowances in place by yr11 and could type, got A*'s A's and B's - went to 6th form college to do 4 A levels, got 2 D's and 2 E's in his AS levels, resat some alongside doing A2's, didn't seem to be doing great, applied for uni but didn't hold out hope of getting his points so made plans for a 3rd year at college.
Went today to get his results, got BDD - BUT GOT INTO UNI!!!!!

I'm so proud of him - now we need to negotiate DSA but he's in!!!!!!
