When and how do you get their involvement.
DD is in nappies 5 + but will soon be in 6.

She is starting school in September and nappies are really expensive and is something that she is going to need for a long time yet.

Any advice helpful, she has OT already.

We've had a continence nurse for a year now and dd has just turned 6. Very good, supportive service in our area. We were referred by school nurse but you can self refer or get OT referral apparently..

We didn't get nappies provided but as dd doesn't need them all day I never asked if we could get any through the service.

dd is doubly incontinent so at 4 she was reffered by the health visitor to the continence service. I think school nurses can do it to. They take over at school age. We get continence nappies provided and have done for years)
