I know he's feeling wobbly. He didn't want me to come to the leavers service because he wants a final taxi ride home with his lovely driver. He didn't want me to have the bother of driving all the way over. I'm feeling wobbly now. No more weekly emails, no safety net, no more system that I actually understand. It's the big wide wold now. Eeek! If anyone lives in the SE nearish a big airport (not Heathrow) and wants gardening, mowing doing, i can rent him out. Pm me if interested.

Should he become Flyingman now?

Thank you. He's home now so I feel less on edge. He's been tearful, I can tell and the taxi driver said he was. Still, I've cleaned the cooker as displacement activity.

I sobbed my heart out at the leavers assembly is morning.
Hope you are both ok x

He's a bit emotional and said that he has a lump in his throat. I've told him about displacement/distraction activity so he's hoovering out the cars within an inch of their lives. You could eat your dinner out of mine!

He's feeling very wibbly about college and they haven't let us know about start dates, etc. i'd like to ensure there is support for him so phoning on monday methinks. Sigh.

Thank you. Have pm you, Merlin. He's still looking a bit dewy eyed. Honestly, I've always been hopeless with crying children. I had a year 2 sobbing the other day. I went very brisk and British mixed with a slightly bonkers MontyPythonesque lunacy. She was laughing after a few minutes but it floors me every time.

Ds finishes school in 10 days. 6th form lined up and (I hope) support in place but I still feel very wobbly about it.

As usual ds is dealing with it by ignoring it. Not sure how it will be when it comes to the bit.

Now what you mean about losing the safety net.

Hi flapping my Dd2 transfered to an absolutely amazing college last year! Despite them being amazing they are hopeless at doing things ahead of times and dont seem to get that lots of Dc's need to know what is going on and when.

I have found them really lovely and helpful if I ring or email them but if I dont..... well, just nothing!!

Hope you and flyingboy are having a lovely weekend and get on that phone on monday.

Good luck Smile

Thank you. That's good to know. They were very lovely when we met but not knowing the where and when is stressful for me, let alone him!
