I'm a childminder and I woud like to print and laminate photos of various facial expressions for one of my looked after children who struggles with social skills. I think it would help him to look at photographs of people showing various emotions. Could anyone recommend a good website/tool for this? Many thanks!

I just googled ' photos emotion ' and loads of images came up which you could print and laminate. Not sure whether real human faces or cartoon type images would work best for you?

these are cute
You get a board book with them as well.

Oh sorry, only googled them quickly and just noticed they are shown in Dollars. Anyway, my husband bought some in a local shop a couple of months ago so they are available in this country.

Hi, my DD nursery used pictures of her friends in her class all mimicking different things. They then used it as a class game.

For her it was more used to teach her the words / signs, rather than the actual emotion (as she has LD & is deaf), but it worked really well and DD enjoys playing the game with her friends.

The only downside of this is that we aren't allowed to take the cards home due to their privacy rules.

We have taken pictures of all family / friends possible doing various faces. We then play a game of guess the emotion and post it in a letter box. DS loves it and is learning to recognise emotions slowly. Learning to understand his own takes a bit longer. Offering a running commentary of what he is feeling helps 'are you angry, you are feeling angry because.....' etc..
