why? because I do not have to spend money on birthday presents as Dd never gets invited. that is what a so called friend just told me. I just sat there like that Shock, unable to think of anything polite to say... this 'friend' knows how difficult with Dd is for us.

I am sure she didn't mean to make me upset but seriously - lucky? stupid cow

I would call someone who said something as utterly insensitive as that an acquaintance - she obviously has no idea how heartbreaking it is when a child is socially excluded.

Oh well whats all the upset about then.......of course you want to save money rather than see your child out to parties.....Shock

I think if it was me being spoken to like that it would be followed by a very long paddington bear hard stare never to be seen again until she pulled her foot out of her mouth x
