i am considering sending an email to the head/senco challenging the lack of adherance to the sencode of practice. (despite preferring couthy's suggestion of dropping a paper version of the thing on his head)

I am sitting on my hands forr a day to ensure tht I do not send something I will regret.

I am also thinking of challenging the autism support person as she was rude and dismissive. though this may be counterproductive.

I would write it all down and then leave it for a day or two. Then re-read and perhaps ask someone else to check it for arsey-ness tone. You may or may not decide to send it (or redraft until it doesn't sound aggro anymore) but even if you don't, it helps to get it out of your system. I have unintentionally offended people because I haven't done that, afterwards I've read the email and thought 'no wonder they were pissed off with me!'

I did that. I found every policy/document/government initiative and went through it all referencing where the whole lot of them were contravening their own regulations.

It made them shake and hate me.

Nothing changed though.

Star you are so right. I think when you are right, they hate you all the more!

it is filed, with no address. It references the sencode of practice. I may ask for the sen policy from school. and beat them round the head with that aas well.
