We have a placement at the independent special school. No tribunal, no fight, no fuss, just a discussion and an outcome. Just awaiting formalities and assessment.

I can't believe they done it without much fight but then if I listened to my own advice it was there only option.......the compensation for us as a family would have them hammered if it went all the way Grin

That's brilliant!! I am really hoping for this outcome myself for ds. Going through statementing process now and desperate to have an independant specialist school named. You are giving me hope! I'm fully expecting the tribunal as pretty much everyone says that's the way it goes. Where are you? What school?x

Good luck, hope you get the outcome you need :-)
