Dd speech has come on but she is still behind other than speech what other things can I mention to increase DDS chance of getting a special unit?

Dd has autism btw, and I really want her in a unit what sort of difficulties are likely to be taken into consideration?

This admissions leaflet from an Autism Unit has as an essential criteria:

"To have the potential for inclusion in mainstream primary school."

I suspect that most units would expect a child to be able to spend time in increasing Mainstream classes.

If you want a unit, you'll have to balance making sure her needs are recognised as 'severe' enough for a unit, but 'moderate enough' for progress towards mainstream to be made.

A tricky balance.
