We have a chance to take dd(8) and ds (5) to London and we thought they would like to do London Eye / Dungeon.

Accommodation is sorted and we will be staying a short tube ride away.

Ds needs to be in the Mac Major for trips out - anyone got any tips / sugestions for the trip?

the dungeon is really quite scary, but if you're sure your dc would like it then is is quite good.

it does get hot though, from memory. and is dark (!), so I guess I would focus on those points if I was going to take my dc.

the eye is brilliant - an oasis of calm. my dds love it, and always end up kneeling at the windows and just taking it all in. last time we went on the eye we got fast tracked through the queue due to SN - a bit like an exit pass at Legoland or similar. It is Merlin group, so I guess the same criteria apply - not able to understand the concept of queuing.

I didn't take mine tho the London dungeon until he was around 12, took him that long to work out the idea of actors, SFX and cope with sudden surprises without a meltdown. He'd have attacked when frightened.
The London Eye he hated the first time and loved the second time around a few months later.

Not 100% sure ...but I think the Dungeon has an age restriction on it of ?12 yrs .
(or maybe parts of it has ?)

The Aquarium is next to the London Eye That is good .

Our trip to London dungeon led to an obsession about murderers in ds1. Infact he wanted to give a class assembly about them and it took considerable work to dissuade him. You have been warned!
