Whingy, whiny self pitying thread....

I have started a practical sensible thread, but can I also start a moaning thread.

I have pulled something on my shoulder bouncing ds on the bed, it is agony, and now I can't pick him up without feeling sick. I am so cross with myself.

I am in such a foul mood - had a good conversation with ds's SALT this morning, about communication apps, and how well ds is starting to sign, and then my friend's ds hugged her and said, 'mummy' - I felt like jumping up and hugging her and bursting into tears all at the same time.

Oh poor you, shoulder pain is horrible when you have dc's because you cant not pick them up.

Its great that your ds is signing and take comfort that it is great that he can begin to communicate.

Try to be kind to yourself and get a break to rest your shoulderSmile

Ouch to the shoulder. I wrenched mine falling down stairs a couple of years ago. It was agony and I was in shock for hours afterwards. So I think you are right to complain. I had to phone a friend and tell her all about it.

I think I understand the mixed feelings too. Good news about Ds's signing though.

Comfort yourself with the fact you managed to get a post deleted on the long thread. I'm Envy

Did I!!!!!!

Blimey, I thought I was the mildest person on mumsnet!!

Thankyou for sympathy about the shoulder - it is agony, and now I feel all fuzzy having taken co-codamol (maybe I'll hold off on the wine later!)

I need some kick ass attitude, to use with the bloody learning disability nurse, who told ds's SALT that, 'we need to seperate the boy from his mother' - I cannot have her involved with us, she has already delivered a whole sackful of caring carrots, and now this, she is a nightmare.

However having learnt that i have been 'kick ass' enough to get deleted on here, I may have to save myself for tomorrow.

Thankyou for the sympathy - I am being very wet today.

I have replied to your useful thread and now I am passing on healing thoughts for your poor shoulder. Lots of warmth then cold on it, plus I was always told that immobilising it makes it even worse. So keep moving it gently. I have discovered the remarkable healing properties of sloe gin again..... Guaranteed to give comfort where needed. Smile

I couldn't believe who got deleted on that thread. You Hazey, Lougle, Polter, zzzzz. What is the world coming too.

(And yes you can't have people like that nurse in your lives.)

I know SallyBear, I haven't felt this bad since getting caught smoking in the copse next to school...with a boy!!!!

Thankyou everyone, have just stuffed my face with rocky road with dd1 and her best friend being very cheeky and sweet, it has really cheered me up.
