why do you censor comments about a special needs school that has been found guilty by a tribunal of failing to protect vulnerable children. Surely the whole country needs to know about this to allow parents to make an informed choice about the care their children are actually receiving at the hands of various members of staff. Some of the actions border on inhumane.

Bonkers!

inappropriatelyemployed · 16/02/2013 21:31

Why do you come on to the special needs board to post about censorship rather than take it up with MN??

PolterGoose
I find your comments completely offensive. Whether or not someone chooses to post is irrelevant. I don't comment on any posts as why should I?! When I get the time to view posts after dealing with my disabled daughter every post that would possibly interest me has plenty of replies all saying the same thing/s I would advise anyway; why duplicate responses?!

As for belowparagain I can also assure you that they are nothing to do with the deleted post other than a bystander who was watching the thread in question.

I see others were removed from mumsnet but you weren't, mmm I find that suspicious!

StarlightMcKenzie · 16/02/2013 22:58

Can someone explain what is going on. I'm a resident here and am as confused as feck!!

hazeyjane · 16/02/2013 22:59

Huh?

inappropriatelyemployed · 16/02/2013 23:02

Very odd stuff going on about the Stanbridge Earls business again. Multiple new posters, possible defamatory comments and then abuse at others because MN has chosen to remove the thread.

Please take it up with MN in the appropriate way.

Sweetdelight · 16/02/2013 23:05

StarlightMackenzie it would appear that if you are new to mumsnet and only comment on one topic it is suspicious.

I have only come on here because it would appear that belowparagain is being bullied because she is new on here.

The previous threads that have long been deleted, again anyone new on them were bullied and deemed suspicious because they hadn't posted before.

It seems all together wrong.

Sweetdelight · 16/02/2013 23:07

Inappropriateemployed please explain? How or what is wrong? No one has mentioned any names!

Sweetdelight · 16/02/2013 23:08

Sorry inappropriatelyemployed

inappropriatelyemployed · 16/02/2013 23:08

Mumsnet only delete threads for a reasons and I am sure you are quite aware of the reason for those deletions.

Star is certainly not a new poster as she clearly stated.

Please do take any of your bullying or thread deletion concerns up with mumsnet who will, I am sure, deal with the appropriately.

StarlightMcKenzie · 16/02/2013 23:09

Well I've not seen that before.

Was it an inflammatory topic?

We're the posts for the sole purpose of lobbying/stirring? As if so, you'd be right it does break the talk guidelines iirc.

inappropriatelyemployed · 16/02/2013 23:10

Many names were mentioned on that last thread.

As I say, please deal with your concerns in the appropriate fashion.

inappropriatelyemployed · 16/02/2013 23:11

Long history to this one Star....it's best let alone and they can contact MN if they have legitimate concerns.

Sweetdelight · 16/02/2013 23:11

I honestly haven't got a clue! I haven't even said anything about star! I wouldn't even know how to check how long people have been registered!

StarlightMcKenzie · 16/02/2013 23:14

I see Confused.

Though quite like feisty people with a chip on their shoulder!

Veritate · 17/02/2013 10:25

There is a bit of a history round here of established posters jumping on new posters in a really intolerant fashion. The fact is that MN is an incredibly large forum, new people will join every day, and, surprise surprise, new people will take an interest in topics of interest to them - in fact they may join precisely because such a topic is being discussed. All of that is perfectly valid. I suffered a similar approach for no good reason whatsoever, and I have seen people making perfectly valid points being attacked gratuitously. I do think that people have to realise that, just because you post round here regularly, it doesn't give you ownership, and that a bit of tolerance does not go amiss.

There also seems to be pretty wholesale disregard of the rule against personal attacks, and that rule in particular deserves to be highlighted in this context.

lougle · 17/02/2013 10:29

Veritate, it is nothing to do with new posters. It is everything to do with the arrogance of people who have no interest in joining a community supposing that they can waltz in and use regular posters to meet their own ends.

If people want to join our community, sharing the boring mundane stuff as well as the attention grabbing stuff, go ahead - they're welcome.

Don't come here and use us, we haven't got the energy.
