Don't normally watch stuff like this. Watched after seeing your post. Can't believe I blubbed! Blush What a very cute little boy. Sighed a little bit about the fact he was lumped in with the rest of the 'bad luck' of the family but that's probably being overly analytical.

Did I hear right though, the SALT saying "they" sometimes have sleep problems Hmm Or did she mean the family specifically?

PoshCat · 13/02/2013 22:40

I think it was meant in the context of another difficult challenge to face.
As someone with a child with social communication and severe speech problems I consider neither us or our child "lucky" to be dealing with this.

Poshcat no I don't think we're 'lucky' that ds has ASD either, but I suppose I mean I don't think I'd like to be pitied that we're landed with 'poor' ds iyswim.

Yes I see what you are saying. On top of all this, they have a child with autism.....

I don't see it like that. My ds has autism and I'm gutted for him and for us. But that is kind of the 'start' of my problems rather than the 'and other thing'. Everything seems to stem from him. Having a house unfit to live in would be the issue it was BECAUSE of his autism.
