Have you asked for reconsideration?

I have personally found the hardest part of having a disabled child is trying to get the support they need. What with dla and statementing it shouldnt be like this.

if you are up for prolonged periods most nights with her then you should really get HRC.

don't bother with a reconsideration, just fill in the appeals form - they will look at your claim again before passing it on to tribunal and most likely change mind due the possibility of a tribunal is looming.

I wonder if they deliberatly award lower in the hope you wont question it. I hope you get the award you want.

Her daytime needs will only contribute in as far as you cannot have high rate care needs if your care needs in the daytime only qualify for lower rate. You can need care every minute of the day time, but if you sleep through, you get middle rate care.

You need to focus on the night-time needs - prolonged care for one period or several periods of 20mins +
