Well it went really well.

The Psych from NHS agrees with our private dx and says that she was upset when her superior said no to AS, she said she will work alongside our Psych.
Told her that our psych says no way to putting him back into his old school and she said well i will go along with that, he has his home tutor now and we should focus on the new school.
She is going to contact our psych and speak to him but she,s just worried about her superior, i said leave it to our psych he told us "bring it on" when we informed him what the no nowt psych had said about DS.

Only sticky moment--"I dont see what a label does other than opening doors to the right sort of help, i dont think a label is that important"

So i said I Do

So come away feeling quite positive and am going to take delight in telling DS that he doesnt have to go back to nasty smelly old school

Sounds good Jenk. Silly moo about the label. Apart from it giving you the legal right to support, what's wrong with someone being known to have a condition/syndrome etc if they have? All very well if they haven't got X or Y but I haven't come across a child yet who has a dx when they shouldn't but plenty the other way round. She needs to get round thinking that way. Its like saying, don't call a person of the female gender a woman, you'd be labelling her/it Grin

" I dont see what a label does other than opening doors to the right sort of help, "

well exactly.. so why can't they just bloody label him for christs sake Angry I really feel for you and your ds in all of this jenk, I wish I could chane the world right now, for you, your son, for my son for everybodies kids out there not getting what they need and deserve.
