As some of you will know, we set up a campaign group around the new SEN legislation. We have been waiting for the new Bill before working on our own responses.

We have been discussing on the LGO thread about having our own website to publish stories about LGO, LAs, NHS, other Ombudsmen, and Tribunals.

Some stuff will have to be anonymised and the stories made very short and punchy.

We can also add other stuff to it.

Anyone capable of setting up a website? I might be able to contact a few organisations for sponsorship if someone knows a person who can do this professionally.

Dh (ex web designer) says his best advice is to set up a Wordpress site. Apparently it's really simple to use and has no costs associated with it.

The only downside is that the web address will include wordpress.com - although you could buy a domain name and point it to it.

That sounds good but we may need help!

Also don't wordpress own the contents if you use them?

Hmm, not sure about that, will ask dh and get back to you.

Dh would be happy to offer ad hoc advice, but can't offer to do a website for you at the moment, having just started a new job that's pretty full on, plus doing a lot of domestic stuff at home while I'm struggling with my health.

Thanks moose. All help welcomed. Completely understand the pressures on your time. Hope things ease up a bit.
