There was an article in MIL's Good Housekeeping on a woman called Sandy Row, she adopted 4 children who each turned out to have SN.

I lurk quite a lot on this board and notice you all seem to bang your head against a brick wall trying to get help or assistance, this book is supposed to be good.

Has anyone read it?

Her son was 16 before she got a diagnosis Shock, she had battled away.

Same with her other children, but not to the same degree.

Disgraceful.

Hi - I bought this when I started with DS2's statement (ready for a long battle) but the statementing went so quickly and we got what we wanted....so, no I've not read all of it! Much seems to concentrate on appeals etc But it has case studies, and examples, and drops the relevant info on what should/shouldn't be happening, in a readable form.

Would think it's useful for anyone who's having/expecting problems during statementing...I'm keeping it on my bookshelf for future reference!!
