MNSNSW... south west meet up..

Right, getting my finger out.

As per the last time we talked about this I am up for organising the next south west meet up, i think we were gonna try one more east than the last Exeter one for this time..

i have a free venue in swindon, accessible from the M4 with free parking, not in town centre, so farther from train station, but can arrange pick up / lift from station.

are most people on half term 16th onwards? do you want that week? or wait till they are back at school? would have enough room for kids there too...

which day is best? (I can't do Weds unless it is Wed 20th Feb)

Do you want lunch? (I am happy to do a big pot of veggie chilli and rice)

he he... am loving idea of feather boa... , as ZZZ and polter said we were very low key, (I hadn't had a hair cut for about 8 months, looked like one of those plump thelwell ponies with the fring over their eyes,

Taxi would probably be about £7, (i think), but don't bother with that.. one of us can come and pick you up. (its less than 10 min drive to the station)
(and I am dying to meet, but a bit in awe of, the famous star )

LOL If I come I will have 3 kids and no car seat!!!!! So, a)would that be okay ?and b)I don't expect anyone would actually meet me, just watch me from afar running in circles......

22nd is good for me. Will have DD1 (2yrs) with me.

Can do lifts for 2 adults if needed, also have highback booster seat if needed.

Would have to run at 1pm as DS2 also does half day on Friday and finishes at ten past one.

Which school is your ds at smile? pm obviously! :-) There's quite a few locally that finish early round here, though i'd never come across it till i moved here.

Should be able to do that. I know that my 2 will not want to come - unsociable things that they are. DH was talking about visiting his mum who lives near Swindon so I will persuade him that this is the perfect opportunity and I don't have to see her.

Hazey I would of course do the feather boa but I'm allergic to feathers don't you know!

I can do 22nd! So excited!!! Will have to be mysteriously ill for work, but I haven't had a day off sick in 4 years. I'm very glam, after having lost 4 stone since dickhead left. Have car with spare booster seat, for station pick-ups.

wow it's really gonna happen! huge pot of chilli and rice is not a problem (slow cooker rules in our house ) I will read back through the thread and summarise who is coming and how,
