Got EP report...one thing it makes comment about is DS running on tip-toes but does not elaborate what that may mean (developmentally?)

Gross and fine motor skills behind expectation for age...presume that is linked?

any clues gladly reveived.

running/walking on tip-toes is easier than heel-toe running/walking, so that is the normal order in that area of development.

(think running in high heels, which one would you do?)

how old is your child?

I don't know what EP report means or what your child's special need is, I just remember that piece of fact from my studies.

Tbh, if you google tip toe walking it will bring up quite a lot of stuff about Asd, with some children it can be a sensory thing.

Having said that I am working with a persistant tip toe walker who shows no signs of Asd and lots of children with Asd will not do it.

It is really common for little ones to tip toe but they should outgrow it.

Why was the EP seeing your Ds?
