Just wanted to check in and say hi

It's been a while and for some reason today I thought I'd like to pop in and say 'hi'.

DD2 is just great, really placid, content lovely little girl. She's got a really serios 'taking it all in' face and then breaks out into huge smiles. She's trying to laugh, she's starting to roll, she plays with toys and so on. She's so strong on those little legs and loves to stand on me and grin. Something that feels so weird, I realise now that Lottie never ever locked those legs as a baby or tried to stand on me.

Lotbags is lovely with her, but on the downside I'm exhausted. Lottie's needs are more apparent than ever. She's great and all that but she's hard work. I don't know how to keep her occupied all day and she's taken to moaning and saying 'noooooooooo' to everything and just generally whinges a lot. Think a lot of that is to do with her not being able to express herself, not being able to use up all the energy she has and therefore she gets bored and frustrated. The fact I'm up feeding DD2 at 12.30, 4ish and then early morning and throughout the rest of the day doesn't help with trying to meet Lotties demands. It's more important than ever that she widen her vocab and get mobile but these things take time, a lot of time and we all need to be patient and grin and bear it meanwhile.

So it's good, but it could be better.

Just wanted to not totally disappear so ....here I am and ...... here I go again......TC xx

We're all doing just fine. dd giggles when her tummy is properly tickled with loud eating noises, and dw does the same.

She likes to grab large strawberries and suck them to death. (That's my dd, not my dw).

she is 9 1/2 months now. Not crawling so still easy to locate and manage. She is a very sociable character, does a flappy wave and sleeps all night every night.

I'm sure you're slightly cream crackered with your two, hope things improve over the next couple of months so you can start to get some kip etc.
