Paisan, 'experimental' refers to lab based behavioural applications, but the group has moved on from that and now incorporates all sorts of ABA, particularly that which is classroom based (aka applied).
To explain some more
'The Group provides a forum for the discussion of research and other professional activities of members, many of whom are also members of the Association for Behavior Analysis: International, of which the Group is an Affiliated Chapter. The Group aims to promote closer collaboration between behaviour analysts working in different universities thoughout Europe. The EABG annual conference is currently organised by the School of Psychology, University of Wales, Bangor. The EABG is a non-profit making organisation. Research interests of the EABG members include: human and animal learning, analysis of verbal behaviour, behaviour analysis in education (e.g., Direct Instruction, Precision Teaching), clinical and remedial therapy, information technology, Early Autism Intervention, and staff productivity and operational behaviour management (OBM).'
The organisers (close friends and colleagues of yours truly are mainly interested in behaviour analysis in education but all aspects will be covered. It isn't a terrifyingly closed shop of beardy weirdies in corduroy either. All involved are utterly charming and personable (Starlight came to the last one two years ago, so ask her.)
Technically first places go to the academic crowd but if you would like to come, apply for a place and mention who directed you to it. The organisers know who I am.
