Has anyone taken a child with autism to Crealy's - do they have an exit pass policy?

Carer goes free there but as for exit passes its never that busy tbh unless you go in summer hols so I've never bothered (I live local) I've always managed to walk on rides or wait couple mins then ride so not too bad

Yes, we will be going in the summer holidays.

We went at Easter in crap weather and it was rammed. No idea about exit pass.

Worth ringing them vager and asking I think its prob too small a place for exit passes but worth a try also most of the entrances to rides are wide enough for wheelchairs so prob no alternative waiting area needed ifyswim. Worth ringing though x

Hello there, we saw this query so we thought we'd come on and answer your questions:

We offer a reduced rate for our disabled guests upon proof of being registered as disabled and we allow 1 free carer also with photo ID of being a registered carer.

We do offer fast track passes for our disabled guests so they do not have to queue which can be collected from our friendly reception team before you enter the park. Our park also offers wheelchair hire which we recommend that you book in advance by telephone and we have disabled toilets available also.

Guests can return into the park the same day upon having their hands stamped before they leave at the admission kiosks or guest services.

We hope you come along and see us Smile

But there is no such thing as 'registered disabled.' People might get DLA, or have a written letter of diagnosis from their doctor but there is no national scheme for 'registering' those who are disabled. Hmm

There certainly isn't a national register with photo ID of being a carer! Shock I get Carer's Allowance at the moment for caring for my DS, but only because I earn under £105/week.

I think you need to review your policy, you are actually making it impossible for anyone to qualify.

Just wanted to echo what Ellen said. My 4 year old uses a wheelchair and gets DLA. I am his carer and get carers allowance but I have no photo id at all and only the carers allowance letter to prove I'm a carer. Is the fast track thing just for people who have autism or is it for wheelchair users as well.

Vagaceratops · 14/01/2013 17:23

Do you think they mean photo ID and proof of being a carer?

I dont know anyone that has photographic proof they are a carer.
