Don't know, but have you thought about wearing the socks inside out? That way the seam is not next to the toes. I know a paraplegic woman who does this to prevent pressure sores.

You mostly get grafted (ie non-seamed) toes on expensive men's socks from old-fashioned tailors, or on hand-knitted ones. If he's in adult sizes, \link{http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/product.aspx?DepGrpCode=MEN&DepCode=MASC&ProCode=HOCBLA\Charles Tyrwhitt} and \link{http://www.pantherella.co.uk/\Pantherella} (stocked by gentlemen's outfitters) have 'hand-linked' toes.

Some specialist \link{http://www.simplantex.co.uk/products.php?cat=34'diabetic' socks} are seamless too, but I couldn't find any in kid's sizes. More useful might be a poke around an outdoor shop - some have kid's walking socks which often have seamless toes.

Would \link{http://www.lazyboneuk.com/store/pro204.html'toe' socks} be any good? They're billed as seamless but don't know if the styling would freak your ds out.

Hope some of this helps!

\link{http://www.eczemaclothing.com/ShowItems.cfm?ProductCode=C33\eczema socks} they are flat stictched toe seams. pricey tho.

tissy, we have gone beyond the inside out now. It worked for a while, but not any more, thanks for your help though.
mrs badger, He is only a size 13, but I will have a look at the diabetic socks. Thanks.
Misdee, Thanks for the link. I have written down their number to see if they have them available. They are expensive, but at the moment anything is better than seeing him so uncomfortable. Smile

I used to have to buy "Pex" (I think) tights for dd, which were seamless on the toes, I think they make socks too but not sure if they are seamless. You can find them in most childrens smaller clothes shops.

Sports (tube) socks are seam free. I have them in both white and black. I got them here in the usa, but I'm sure you can find them there. My ds wears them with all different types of shoes.
