Same old, same old. The last shitty Trust dealing with DS's care were appalling, they stonewalled complaints, ignored emails, lied, apologised and then withdrew their apology etc etc.

The PHSO have been involved for over a year. In March, they decide to launch an investigation. Why do they always time these things for holidays and weekends?

Three page decision received today and it's such a pile of crap. It abdicates responsibility to other oversight bodies and then just does a generic report back on the Trust being reasonable without any reference to the evidence.

It appears that if you ask a hospital Trust x,y and z and they don't answer. The PHSO will answer for them.

..but you knew that, right? I think we need to keep believing if we keep complaining, somewhere, somehow it is noted.

A very supportive professional came to speak at a support group I run, and she told me quite often individual professionals don't agree with the system, etc, etc, but they are not heeded. It is parents that hold the power, even if it doesn't seem like it. She urged us to keep making our voices heard.

But it doesn't make any difference when we do, does it? My experience has led me to conclude that complaints and oversight bodies are a waste of time.

If available, I will always take the legal option now. Like why go to the LGO if you can judicially review?

But that has got to be such a waste of public money
