Tell me the DLA form is easier than it looks. Have been looking at it for 2 weeks now nearly and other than filling in her name and my name I've lost the will to live. NDCS support stuff is good, but there's SO MUCH of it. Want the money, but is it worth the effort? Plus, if she gets refused and I have done that plus the carers form may lose plot altogether. Grrr.

I have a feeling I'm the only person ever to find the DLA form relatively straight forward, in fact I quite like forms... Shock Grin

The only hard part really is having to think of your childs weakest areas and problems at their worst and write that, to proove why they need more caring for then same age peers.

Hang in there, catrin! They are time consuming aren't they? The worst bit is getting started though. I found it difficult to keep explaining what DD can't do and found myself in tears each time I sat down to work on it. It was all so negative.
It's now five years since that first application & I shall have to reapply soon so have followed a few of the recent DLA posts. Someone here recommended the Cerebra website - thank you! I contacted them a couple of days ago and they've sent me a copy of their step by step DLA claim guide for parents which is full of suggestions & looks really helpful.
Good luck!
