Does anyone fancy a coffee at the Horniman's Museum on Thurs 1st November at 10 am?

I'm taking DS & his bessie there for the day, but it would be nice just to say "Hi" if anyone fancies it.

There's a small charge for the aquarium & they've just done up the Gardens, so it should be a fairly nice place to visit - with both indoor and outdoor options to keep the kids entertained.

I thought we could meet in the morning in case it gets too overrun with judgey pants types later in the day. The museum's coffee shop is easy to spot when you arrive.

Central London is often easier for us 'Sahf' of the river too!

It was REALLY lovely to meet everyone and the children too. Bochead treated DS to a short stop in a relative's shop at the end which he hasn't stopped talking about (it had models).

DS also thought what he now calls 'biscuit with your eyes' game the the kids played in the conservatory was also fab and has tried to replicate with dd at home, so that was a huge success too.

And last but not least DS is delighted to have found someone with a mutual interest in tape measures. He was so excited about this that he tried hard to get anyone/everyone sitting anywhere near us on the way home to be as interested to 'some' effect.
It would be great to meet up again sometime.

Belatedly coming back to this thread - echo what others said, it was lovely to meet everyone. (Have pmed a couple of you, am trying not to take it as a snub that you haven't replied Wink)

What about Tate Modern for a future meet-up? The main hall is so huge, great for running up and down, and noisy enough that we can make as much noise as we like without fear of tuts. And if the weather's good enough there's the area outside for playing.

Perhaps we could try a 10.30 meet at Tate Modern?

Jan 19th there's an autism friendly screening at the NT of Hansel & Gretal (they send out a visual story wiv your tickets and everyfing!). I think it's called the "relaxed performance".

(It wasn't the smartest idea for us to meet straight new people right after the excitement of Halloween so was wondering if others would like to meet after all the Xmas kerfuffle is over? )
