MS school is not going to work. It's obvious now. How quickly can I get her into a SS?
I think county will agree. Is there any point in waiting for ms to realise it isn't going to work?
I want her to be moving forward not backwards.
I know now SS is best for her. Tell me it's the right thing to do. I know it is I just need to be told

Well, it isn't always a case that your child can't cope in ms, but that ms has become so inflexible and resourced starved ms can't cope with your child iyswim.

It is absolutely the right thing to do.

She'll have teachers who know about SN.
Small classes.
And true peers.

And she'll still be the same wonderful girl you love.

If it helps, we pushed for DS2 (6yo) to go into SS from MS. It took a lot of pushing, a date for tribunal, and then LA finally agreed. So DS2 started his SS yesterday.

He loves it. He has had 2 brilliant days. It's early days yet, but so far so good. He has 6 children in his classroom instead of the 25 he had in the classroom in MS. It makes such a difference to the sensory overload. And his eccentric behaviours are not looked at oddly or questioned. The children seem to just accept it as it is, just as he accepts their behaviours.

We were nervous, but it was absolutely the right decision for DS2.

Hi. She has max hours on her statement. Going to be harder to find a unit than a SS
